All Points Animal Care is a full service acupuncture, medical, and general surgery practice owned and operated by Dr. Maria Dunton.

Dr. R.M. Dunton – Dr. Dunton has been working in the Rutland area for over 25 years, providing excellent comprehensive and compassionate care.

Dr. Dunton was born in Maine and spent much of her childhood in Ohio. At Ohio State (DVM, 1980), she did undergrad and graduate work in animal nutrition before veterinary school.

Dr. Dunton has many pets of her own, and understands the pet-owner bond first hand. She recently completed a rigorous course in veterinary acupuncture, and is successfully integrating these treatments with traditional treatments upon request. Dr. Dunton always strives to maintain a level of health in her patients that allows them to live life to the fullest.

When she is not practicing medicine Dr. Dunton spends time with her dogs enjoying nature in Vermont, riding her bike, skiing, gardening, and horseback riding.

Dr. Anna Dunton-Gallagher (DVM, 2011) – graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Anna did her clinical year at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA with externships at a few veterinary hospitals and freelance surgeons in Vermont. She did her undergraduate work in psychobiology at UCLA (BS, 2007).

Anna is Dr. Dunton’s daughter and is happy to be back in Vermont after eight years of schooling. Despite the locales of her schools, she actually loves fall and winter best. Anna loves riding horses, walking her dog Skyla (who happens to be a perfect dog), hanging out with her cats, and snowboarding in the winter. She was raised in the hills of Chittenden by two veterinarians and brings the enthusiasm for excellent veterinary care that is familiar to any of our dedicated customers. Her main interest is preventative medicine and wellness. Anna is glad to be back in Vermont, proud to work at the family business, and excited to care for the furry members of your family
